School Play

The Drama Production

(Submitted by Mr. Thelen)

The school play this year is an original production written and directed by Mr. Thelen.  The setting is Hammondville, NY, circa 1903.  A group of women, who do not have the right to vote, plot to get the Adirondacks to secede from the Union so they can set up their own nation.

How Molly Anderson Becomes the Mayor of Hammondville stars Shannan Morrissey and Halley Ofner as Molly and Maggie Anderson.  The villains (the Adirondack Secessionists) are Margaret Hoops, Meg Betit, and Elicia Proietti.  The townsmen are Zack Terbeek (the mayor), Pat Kiely, Mike Stitt, Mike Rice, and Austin Savage.  Also appearing are seniors Mark St.Onge and Shannon Noyes, along with Kasey Manley and Rachel Macey.  The production assistants are Jaimee Morrissey and Ms. Swan.

The play will be held on April 2 and 3 at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are available at the door.
