Academic Eligibility

It is your responsibility to maintain a satisfactory academic standing. Academic standards and actions resulting from failure to maintain them are outlined below:

1 . A student who is found deficient in one or more subjects may not be excused from study hall for any reason with the exception of a pre-signed pass from a teacher for extra help.

2. A student who is found deficient in two subjects will not be allowed to participate in any extra curricular event. (Team members on the list for two subjects can practice but not participate in the game) Parent's should be notified by Teacher .

3. A student who is found deficient in three subjects will not be allowed to participate in any extra curricular events for that week. (practices and games) Parents should be notified by Teacher.

Monitoring of student progress will begin at the end of the third week of school and be maintained weekly during the school year. Teachers will notify the office prior to TUESDAY, AT 2:30 PM of students who are deficient in their classes and reason why. Weekly reports will be in effect Wednesday until the next Wednesday.

Students will be considered deficient if they are failing tests and quiz and/or assignments, and/or are in danger of failing due to a back log of work not handed in or not done.
